The Baltic Connection

We have moved east from Berlin, and a bit to the north, passing briefly through Riga, Latvia where we discovered new friends at Kanepes Kultura Centrs and RIXC. We also discovered some tragic elements at the extensive Holocaust and Ghetto Museums. These are amazing archives of all the names of the murdered Jews under the Nazi occupation of Latvia. 

Latvia had many wonders to deliver, we were able to travel to the hometown's of Amee's great-grandparents. In Kuldiga, a remarkably restored rural place sporting the "widest waterfall in Europe," we found echoes from three previous generations from her family.
